Our fees
Understanding fees and construction costs early helps you plan confidently. We always aim for transparency, offering a tailored service that reflects your project’s scope, complexity and ambition.
How much are architect’s fees?
Full architectural services from concept to completion are charged as a percentage of construction cost, depending on scale, complexity, and scope. Projects with smaller budgets and within existing building fabric will have a higher percentage fee, while new build projects with a higher budgets will have a smaller percentage fee. These generally range from ten to fifteen percent.
We take on projects of all sizes with the belief that creativity and design focus are what make the biggest impact as opposed to budget alone. Construction budgets on most of our projects fall between one hundred thousand to two million pounds. As a rough guide, construction costs in London typically start from fifteen hundred to two thousand pounds per m² for light interior refurbishment, and four thousand to to six thousand pounds per m² for new build work.
Before committing to a full architectural appointment, we recommend starting with a standalone feasibility study. This is a low-commitment way to explore working together, designed to explore possibilities for your project, and ensure the brief feels right before moving forward. Fees for a feasibility study start from fifteen hundred pounds.
From adding an uplift to property value to securing significant cost savings through considered technical design, our input often exceeds the cost of our fees in long-term value.
