Join Wadhal & Noiascape for the launch of Colliding Contexts, an exhibition exploring belonging through personal & architectural narratives.
London is a city shaped by contradiction: celebrating difference while simultaneously resisting it. For many, belonging emerges by embracing this tension - holding multiple places, cultures, and identities at once.
Through photography and drawings of three contemporary homes, Colliding Contexts explores how mediating heritage, history, and landscape can create new forms of belonging.
The launch will feature a 7pm talk by Fahad Malik, founder of Wadhal, reflecting on his journey from Islamabad to London, and establishing a practice in the city that has become home.
Colliding Contexts is held as part of the London Festival of Architecture. The exhibition is hosted in Wadhal’s studio within High Street House, a co-living space developed by Noiascape that Fahad originally worked on as an architect, and now lives and works in.
Following the launch, the exhibition will be open to visitors (no RSVP required) from 13th-19th June, 12pm-6pm.
